  • Don't overlook light emitting diode (LED) lighting. Currently, it is rather expensive up-front, but LED bulbs use about 1/8 of the watts of a comparable incandescent bulb and last up to tens of thousands of hours (resulting in much greater savings over the life of the bulbs).

  • I'm a long-suffering (until recently) Caps fan, but Stamkos was the most valuable player for his team. OV is awesome (but had a couple droughts/suspensions that take away from his overall season). Additionally, the Caps were just as good or better w/o OV when he was away.
